Whitechapel gallery – Elmgreen & Dragset

I really enjoyed this exhibition particularly The Whitechapel Pool, an installation of an abandoned swimming pool. I love how much detail they went in to, with cracked tiles, dirt and a collapsing ceiling, I also really liked how they created a story to go along with it, describing how the once loved pool was now being bought by investors to create a luxury hotel. The whole piece is a comment on the extreme gentrification of East London and the loosing of communities.
